Initial stage for divorce: Family Guidance Committee
The first stage of the authorized process for divorce is the Family Guidance committee. The local courts cannot be approached by citizens directly in family matters. In such cases, a no-objection certificate or a transfer letter must be attained by the Family Guidance committee preceding to approaching the courts. - We have practiced that some parties notice the settlement agreement without taking advice from a specialized lawyer, and this has direct to some very serious consequences for the parties and their future as well. It is cautious to mention here that such settlement agreements cannot be adjusted unless both parties sanction to the amendment.
